⚽️Spring Training⚾️

Spring training is over for soccer, almost done for baseball, and about to start for Little League everywhere! Hartford Athletic opens their season tonight at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford at 6:30 against the New York Shockers. Let me know if you’re going, I’ll be there!

🌳Spring Fever🥾

We are just a week or two before local hiking trails start to dry out. It’s one of the best times of year for any outdoor lover! We plan on spending a lot of time on the Metacomet Trail this year.

CT NET: Section 20

This route takes you along the northernmost section of the Metacomet in Connecticut. This trail takes you on a nice path with lots of old white oak and pine. It follows the Metacomet Ridge, where you will be rewarded with many views to the west. The start of this route is the steepest and most challenging until you reach the Peak Mountain summit.

🏃Spring Racing💨

Spring means the 29th running of the 5K & 10K Bradley Road Race is here! I’ll be somewhere near the back of the pack for the 5K! The race is hosted by the Windsor Locks Lions Club to support local community activities and regional health-related organizations. As always, it will take place the last Saturday in March. If you join and beat me, you’ll win a… Nevermind, you will!
