Daylight savings, spring forward day is here again this weekend. I always look forward to that extra hour in the fall but now we pay for it. The extra hour in the evening is worth it though! Sunset this Sunday: 6:52pm!

⚡️Energy Savings🔌

Electricity rates aren’t going down anytime soon. Eversource has a great program to help weatherize your home. For $75, a contractor will give you an energy assessment and make on-the-spot energy savings upgrades to your home. When we had ours done, they sealed up several drafts, added weather stripping around doors, and replaced a bunch of lightbulbs. If you haven’t taken advantage of this program, I highly recommend it.
📆March Madness🏀

Looking for something to do this weekend? The Connecticut Homebuilders & Remodelers Association is holding its home show this weekend, March 7th-9th, at the Connecticut Convention Center. It’s a great place to get some great ideas and do some additional research on those energy saving upgrades mentioned above!
🏡Perfect Homefinder🌳

Most home buyers think the only way to find a home is by searching online, checking Zillow, or whatever a Realtor sends them. But here’s the truth: if you’re looking online, you’re looking at leftovers. These are homes that every other buyer has already seen, passed on, or, if it’s a great home, you’re now competing with five, ten, even twenty other buyers for the same property. That’s why so many buyers today feel frustrated—they’re either losing bidding wars or settling for something they don’t love.
That’s where Perfect Homefinder comes in. Instead of waiting for a home to hit the market, we go find the home you’re looking for. Here’s how it works:
You tell us exactly what you’re looking for—specific neighborhoods, price range, style, amenities, even things like backyard size or school district. Then, we go out and find homeowners who have homes that match your criteria but haven’t listed yet. We identify sellers who would consider selling if they had the right offer, but they’re not on the MLS, not in bidding wars, and you’re not competing against the entire market for them.
Most sellers are buyers first. They don’t want to list their home until they know where they’re going next. In this market, they know finding what they want within their budget just isn’t going to happen. That’s why so many homes never hit the market. With Perfect Homefinder, we reach out to those homeowners, show them we have a serious buyer, and connect you before anyone else even knows their home is available. If we have to, we can offer to help them find their next home.
This is not a “pocket listing.” We’re not hoarding properties or selling off some secret list. This is a service where we market directly to homeowners. There’s zero obligation. You’re not committing to anything by using this service. If we find homes that match what you’re looking for, great! You get first access before anyone else. If not, you keep looking, no pressure.
If you’re tired of losing out on homes or struggling to find the right one, Perfect Homefinder is the smarter way to buy. Tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll go find it for you.
